In the midst of all this "art theft", I thought I might turn you guys on to a lovely FireFox add-on called "Who Stole my Pictures?", which helps you easily find all the weird places your art has been re-posted.

Unfortunately, it can only find unedited re-posts of your art, which are not always cause for alarm or a crime, but it can help you keep tabs on all the places your art is turning up.

Here's where you can get this add-on: addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firef…

And here's an example of the results, using my "Discord" fanart as an example.

All the places this image can be found on the internet: www.google.com/search?q=my+lit…
(WOW, people sure like this artwork, bahaha)

You can also search this way manually, by dragging your image into the Google search bar, and choosing "All Sizes".
I just like how the "Who Stole my Pictures?" add-on does all the hard work for me. xD

Now, re-posting is generally not considered a crime, so I would ask that when you find instances of your art being re-posted, and you want it taken down, please be polite, keep a calm head, and be reasonable in your requests for the art to be removed. And if in any case you feel your art is being used improperly, do not be afraid to consult a lawyer, or someone knowledgeable on copyright laws.

Also, as I've said many BILLIONS of times before, this is EXACTLY why I keep insisting that you guys watermark everything you create - Look at all the places my Discord artwork has shown up! And in all of them, my watermark clearly lets everyone know where they can find the original artist. You can't always prevent people from re-posting your artwork, and you won't always know that it's been done, so your best bet is to watermark the crap out of it, so everyone knows who to credit!
