Yukio + Sheilah

Yukio, Male, Age 14.
Severely self-conscious of his "bad" eye, Yukio tends to avoid social contact when he can. His well-mannered Akita dog, Sheilah, serves both as a semi-service dog and a boost to his confidence. He feels he can go anywhere so long as she is present.

Upon entering the "Reaper's Game", Yukio finds himself alone, without the support of his canine companion. Will he find confidence enough to go it alone?

Edit: OOOOH, this gets uploaded into MY gallery? Then I WILL give a better description of my good friend Yukio.

-Yukio lost his eye to an infection. He had a minor injury as a very small child which was never properly treated.
[Because I hate and am incapable of symmetry.]
-No one's ever really said anything hurtful about Yukio's eye, but he tends to over-think things and assume that everyone is apalled by it.
[I do that, too.]
-It's no coincidence that Sheilah's breed is the same as the famous Hachiko. Yukio had always longed to form that same sort of bond with someone, so he invested in an Akita dog of his own. And she was just what he needed to help him walk down the street in spite of his social fears.
[I feel more confident when I walk with my dog, Shiro. Without him, I don't like to go on walks, but with him, I can go anywhere. So this is also a self-reflection.]

Yukio is just like me, so I like him. Unfortunately THIS DRAWING DOESN'T LOOK LIKE HOW I IMAGINED HIM IN THE SLIGHTEST. But. I FINISHED SOMETHING I STARTED. So. YAY!!
