Jillian Holtzmann - Ghostbusters Day!

Okay, part two of my Ghostbusters day shenanigans - my favorite Ghostbuster, Holtzmann!

This was a true miracle and a fluke (AND HURRIED AS HELL), but I'm glad things fell in my favor for once!

Initially, I was only going to draw Slimer, since he's kind of a universal mascot for all of Ghostbusters, but in light of a small awakening of anti-2016 sentiment on Twitter after a statement by Dan Aykroyd, I thought I should represent the Ghostbuster who brought the series back to life for me, after 25 years or so of me completely ignoring it. I was kind of emboldened to draw Holtzmann in addition to Slimer (Slimer at that point was already sketched) after my boyfriend "consoled" me that my Slimer would be "safe" - no one could hate it, I wouldn't be yelled at or anything. He said that and something clicked in my brain and told me screw "safe". The thought behind Slimer wasn't "safety", but inclusion (everyone knows Slimer!), but after the community started looking a little less friendly than usual, I decided to take the tiniest bit of a stand, too.

I really don't care how anyone feels about GB 2016 - if it wasn't for that movie, I wouldn't be revisiting the rest of the series and enjoying the hell out of every inch of it. For me, your crankiness was worth it, because now I love your boys again, too. I'm sorry you made an unwanted sacrifice in order for me to be here (I MEAN THAT SINCERELY!!!) but now that I'm here, let's just have fun!

Three things about this on an artsy level:
1. I don't give even the smallest of craps about drawing a Proton pack or gun. Can you tell?
2. I realized part of my problem with drawing humans is that I'm fighting what is, sadly, my "natural" style. I don't WANT my art to look like Kingdom Hearts, but I gave it some thought and realized that Sora was the first human being I EVER put actual effort into drawing, and so that is my very foundation, and this only became possible (with still some flaws) when I gave in. Fighting your style is good for learning, but I guess it's okay to give in to it every now and then. I guess. I don't know. Maybe I'm wrong. xD BUT IT HELPED THIS HAPPEN AT LEAST
3. I would kill for a sketchier inking style ugh I hate this smoothness so much

Also, I had just announced that I'm going to try releasing works 3 days earlier on MY PATREON than publicly, but since this is day-specific I made an exception! Sorry!!
