Janine Melnitz - Cranky but Sweet Doggo

I love Janine.

Unlike the 4 dude Ghostbusters, who were a mix in style of the film AND the IDW comics, this one is 100% just based on the IDW version. xD Perhaps I am lazy now that I have illustrations to base a design on...it really is less work...but also I had a hard time figuring out how to make her look like movie Janine, especially when movie Janine looks so different between the two movies that I only know it's the same person each time because the credits say so. I'm very bad with that kind of thing.

I wasn't 100% sure if a "Papillon" style dog worked with her, but I drew it so many times* it eventually just settled in.

Also I don't know if anyone cares, but in the fake little story I have going for these guys in my head, I think I actually want Janine to stay as a human, but I'm not sure. This is just for fun.

I also want to do Kylie, Alexander, and then maybe one other dog designed 100% based on the IDW comics (Tiyah, maybe?), and then I promise I'll try to re-sketch and color the Answer the Call Doggos (I HAVEN'T FORGOTTEN WHERE THIS ALL STARTED DON'T WORRY).
